Bird on a Wire
Looking out the window six stories or more up in the sky, this little black bird caught my eye. Using my zoom, I was able to capture him as he sat on the wire. It is always a treat to catch an animal in its every day moments, and take a photograph.

A Touch of Winter before Blizzard Nemo
I’ve been a bit too busy to explore my photos lately, but I’m finally back. Here’s a few pictures of the trees a couple weeks ago. We were effected by Blizzard Nemo, so I’ve had a bit more time inside this weekend than usual. Thankfully we are all dug out and have power. Hoping others of you are doing okay after the storm as well!

Flowers and a Macro Lens
Taking macro photos of flowers is one of my absolute favorite ways to play with my camera. Flowers are one of my favorite inspirations, and having photo editing software makes the whole process even more artistically enjoyable. Winter Rose
Earlier this week, an ice storm, wrapped itself around nature. I have one rose bud, that has hung on through all the changes of the weather; and even after this storm, it still hangs strongly to its branches. It reminds me that, often when we think we can’t make it through something that is difficult, we really can. It is an image of strength and hope for me.
